We earn commissions on some links
Many of the product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer — at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you'd pay going to the store directly; the retailer simply shares a small percentage with us for the referral.
Commissions never influence recommendations
Our guides are written first, based on research — published specs, long-term owner feedback, and real-world practicality. Affiliate relationships don't determine what we cover, what we recommend, or how we rank things. We don't sell placements, and no brand can pay to be featured or favored. If we wouldn't recommend it to a friend, we don't recommend it here.
Why we disclose this
Because it's the law — and because it's the right thing to do. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires publishers to clearly disclose material connections with retailers, and we do so on every page containing affiliate links (look for the disclosure notice near the top of each guide) as well as here.
What this funds
